My Approach to Therapy

My approach to therapy is holistic, eclectic, and integrative; meaning that I incorporate a variety of techniques and modalities. I see therapy as a co-creative process between client(s) and therapist working together to determine the most effective path to resolution of the presenting issues.

My preference is to utilize experiential interventions because I have found those to create a greater opportunity for self awareness and rewiring the brain, which produces more rapid results. However, everyone is an individual with a unique perspective, so there is no one-size-fits-all. Some of the modalities and theories I draw upon are Mindfulness, Process Therapy, Positive Psychology, Transpersonal Psychology, & HeartMath Coherence Techniques (such as the emWave biofeedback technology to practice heart/brain coherence).

Spiritual Concepts That Inform My Perspective

We are all connected by a Universal life force energy that flows through all of us. Although this Source energy is the same, we are individually designed to express our love, creativity, and gifts in a unique way. When this expression becomes blocked (through limiting beliefs, fears, trauma, stress, etc.) we begin to experience difficult emotions and problems in life.

Feel free to call me to discuss your situation to see if we would be a good fit to work together.
