My Approach to Therapy
My approach to therapy is holistic, eclectic, and integrative; meaning that I incorporate a variety of techniques and modalities. I see therapy as a co-creative process between client(s) and therapist working together to determine the most effective path to resolution of the presenting issues.
My preference is to utilize experiential interventions because I have found those to create a greater opportunity for self awareness and produce more rapid results. However, everyone is an individual with a unique perspective, so there is no one-size-fits-all. Some of the modalities and theories I draw upon are Mindfulness, Process Therapy, Positive Psychology, Gestalt Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), & Transpersonal Psychology.
